President Abraham Lincoln established Thanksgiving as an official national holiday in 1863. Photography and the telegraph were cutting edge technologies of the day. Being a technology company, we wondered if a photograph of the Lincoln's Thanksgiving feast was taken to commemorate the festivities or if Abe and Mary sent holiday greetings to family and friends by telegraph. We may never know, but we do know some ways technology has changed our Thanksgiving of today.
