Read about COMMWORLD's unique Current Technology Assurance Plan (C-TAP) as published in the April issue of Commercial Journal - Kansas City...
COMMWORLD, a telecommunications company, is providing small– to mid–sized companies with the latest technology without the worry of it ever becoming obsolete.
The phrase "here today, gone tomorrow" holds true in many situations, and the world of technology is no exception. For as soon as one cell phone or voice data system hits the market, another more improved version emerges. Never mind the increased price with each new product.
Having the latest technology is essential to an organization's efficiency, profitability, and competitiveness.
"The main thing we wanted to do was to find a way that business clients could acquire technology without the fear that within six months it would be obsolete," says Bob Bennett, president of COMMWORLD.

Phone Facts...Everyone knows it was Alexander Graham Bell who invented the telephone – or was it?

According to an article in The New Yorker magazine from years ago, Antonio Meucci invented the first telephone during the 1850's and 1860's, but he had trouble with financing. He was issued a temporary patent in 1871 and later renewed it twice. In 1874 Meucci failed to renew again because he lacked the $10 filing fee.
On March 7, 1876, Alexander Graham Bell was issued the official patent by the United States Patent Office. Another man named Elisha Gray got his designs for a telephone to the Patent Office only a few hours later that Bell. What's the old saying? "A day late and a dollar short."
