COMMWORLD sponsors KCMBA's Annual Meeting
KANSAS CITY, MO - December 14, 2007 - COMMWORLD of Kansas City,
a leader in business communications, announced today that, for the third consecutive
year, COMMWORLD is proud to be a sponsor of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association's
123rd Annual Meeting. The luncheon was held on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the
Kansas City Marriott Muehlebach Hotel. Charles German, 2007 President of the KCMBA,
presided over this event which brings approximately 700 legal professional together.
The Honorable John E. Jones III presented the Keynote Address. In 2002, President
George W. Bush appointed Judge Jones to his current position as the 21st judge to
sit in the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
This year's Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to John C. Dods III and the
Joseph E. Stevens Aspire Award to Excellence was given to Honorable John W. Lungstrum.
The President's Award which is selected by the current KCMBA President, honors those
who have made exceptional contributions to the success of the Association during
the year. Stephen J. Consentino, Peter K. Hartweger and Peter B. Sloan were the
2007 recipients. The Outstanding CLE Contributor Award was presented to Leon Versfeld.
